The Buffalo Bills need to be almost perfect from now on if they want to make the playoffs.
That’s why they cannot afford to lose any more of their starters and major contributors from now on.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Bills HC Sean McDermott reported that DT Jordan Phillips will be headed to the Injured Reserve (IR) list with a wrist injury, all while safety Micah Hyde is also expected to miss Saturday night’s game with the same neck injury that prevented him from suiting up in the win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Significant injury updates for the #Bills: Per coach Sean McDermott, DT Jordan Phillips (wrist) is headed to IR. Meanwhile, S Micah Hyde is not expected to play on Saturday night.

Fortunately for the Bills, they’re going to square off against the Los Angeles Chargers, who won’t have Justin Herbert for the remainder of the season and who have recently fired GM Tom Telesco and HC Brandon Staley.
All things considered, Josh Allen and company should be more than able to get the job done against the ever-struggling and undermanned Chargers, even if they don’t have these two players on the field.
This team is peaking at the right time, and they look like a legitimate threat to make the playoffs.
The Bills could be the biggest dark horse in the AFC, and even if they don’t end up playing at home in the postseason, they could be one of the last teams you want to face in a win-or-go-home situation.
Their offense has looked much better and more balanced since they let Ken Dorsey go, with James Cook being involved early and often in the running game.
