This weekend was not the kindest to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Not only did the Chargers lose in a blowout game to the Denver Broncos, but they lost one of their key players due to injury.
Justin Herbert exited the game with a hand injury, which left fans concerned about his status moving forward.
As Ian Rapoport has recently highlighted in a segment of Good Morning Football, Herbert is suffering from a finger fracture.

The team is waiting for tests and imaging to be completed, but at this point, things are not looking favorable for Herbert.
He could miss the rest of the season due to this injury, a devastating blow to team morale.
Of course, the Chargers are effectively out of the playoff race, but this does not take away from Herbert’s injury.
Despite their losses this season, the locker room continues to rally around Herbert, and the franchise has adopted him as their star quarterback.
He will be a massive component of how the organization moves forward, as he is tied to the team for the foreseeable future.
With any luck, the tests will come out more positively than the team expects, and he will be good to go for next week’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Otherwise, it will be up to Easton Stick to lead the team for the rest of the season, pending a change made by head coach Brandon Staley.
This injury doesn’t help Staley’s cause, who has been on the hot seat throughout the year.
