The Denver Broncos’ season could come to an early end tonight.
Sean Payton’s team is 1-4, and a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs would pretty much put the division out of reach, barring a miracle.
With that in mind, the former Super Bowl champion confirmed that even though they’re not shopping any of their players at the moment, they will pick up the phone and listen to trade offers.
That’s why there has been plenty of speculation about Frank Clark and his future.
Now, a report by Field Yates of ESPN confirms what most people thought: He’s not going to be a Denver Bronco for much longer.
Frank Clark’s days as a Bronco are coming to an end, per sources. Be it via a trade or release, the team will be moving on from Clark soon.
It’s the second pass rusher Denver will have parted ways with in recent days, as the team traded Randy Gregory less than a week ago.…

According to Yates, the team will either trade him or release him, so it seems like there’s just no going back.
Let’s remember that the Broncos have already moved on from another veteran pass rusher, trading former Dallas Cowboys star Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers.
Per the report, Clark just agreed to restructure his contract with the organization, giving back almost $1.7 million in guaranteed salary.
Clark entered the season as a potential trade candidate, but not even the most pessimistic fan even thought the Broncos would struggle this mightily again this season.
He’s played well enough despite being trapped on one of the league’s worst defenses this season, and there should always be more than enough interest in pass rushers.
Russell Wilson is reportedly the only untouchable player at Mile High right now, and the Broncos might overhaul their roster in an attempt to recoup some draft capital.
