The Philadelphia Eagles gave their already excited fans more to cheer about Friday when they revealed plans for wearing classic throwback uniforms in 2024.
The traditional look was shown twice last season, and the team won both games, defeating Miami in Week 7 and the Bills in an overtime thriller in Week 12.
Those games were the first for the team in the classic style since 1995.
With that kind of mojo, of course the team is going to wear them again this season.
NFL expert Ari Meirov revealed that the Eagles will don their throwback Kelly Green uniforms for their Week 9 matchup with Jacksonville and Week 17 showdown with the hated Cowboys.

Philadelphia took the field in Kelly Green for the first game of 2010, but those uniforms were based on the 1960s version.
As happy as they are with the nod to nostalgia, Eagles fans are much more concerned with repeating the success of 2022 and avoiding the collapse the team experienced last season.
Fresh off a Super Bowl appearance the previous year, the 2023 edition roared out of the gate to a 10-1 record and was on track for another deep playoff run.
However, losses in five of their final six games and a pounding in Tampa dampened that enthusiasm considerably and set the stage for what the team and its fans hope is a turnaround in 2024.
Both coordinators are gone from last season, and the defense may see as many as seven new starters.
If this translates into success on the field, the two throwback uniform dates will be even more raucous than usual in Philly.
