Right now, the prospect from the national champion University of Michigan Wolverines people are talking about is quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who is considered by many to be the fourth-best QB prospect in a QB-rich draft.
But there is another Wolverines player who may be seeing his stock rise.
Michigan held it’s Pro Day on Friday, and per Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, running back Blake Corum helped himself.
Blake Corum helped himself today, according to one NFL executive in attendance at Michigan’s Pro Day: “Corum’s feet are really good. He’s tough and physical. He plays bigger than he is and he can really catch the football.” pic.twitter.com/lTg0j5y1Ha

Corum ran for 1,245 yards and 27 touchdowns during the 2023 season, and he was named the offensive MVP of the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship Game for posting 134 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Schultz noted that he is physical and has good feet, but that he also has good dual-threat ability, despite his meager receiving numbers of 117 yards and one touchdown last year.
Last February, Corum took the microphone at a Michigan basketball game and told the crowd his team would win the national championship during the coming season.

The concerns about Corum at the next level have to do with the fact that he’s just 5-foot-8 and the meniscus injury he suffered in 2022 that prematurely ended his season after 12 games.
His lack of height could also hurt his ability to make explosive plays, as well as his ability as a blocker.
Right now, it seems Corum is projected to go somewhere in the middle of April’s draft, possibly in the third round.
Perhaps his realistic potential in the NFL is that of a solid backup running back behind someone with more size, power, and explosiveness.
