The Tennessee Titans’ Super Bowl window closed right before their eyes.
They never had a Super Bowl-caliber quarterback, and that has often set them back during the Mike Vrabel era.
Even so, he earned his stripes in the league as a hard-nosed competitor and someone who constantly found ways to get wins out of the mud and win games he wasn’t supposed to win.
With the team heading in a different direction right now, there have been plenty of questions about whether Vrabel is going to stay with the team or not.
And according to NFL insider Josina Anderson, there’s a “50/50” chance he will stay with the team for at least another season.
League source to me just now on whether they feel #Titans head coach Mike Vrabel continues with the organization amid questions about whether everyone’s on the same page & the direction of the future, they just said in their opinion, “I’d call it 50/50 right now.” pic.twitter.com/xLyJNY2qbj

Needless to say, Vrabel could be very sought-after if he were to be made available.
Some people have named him as a potential replacement for Bill Belichick in the event that Robert Kraft shows him the door and forces him to leave the New England Patriots.
He’d make a logical replacement, considering his history with the organization and his profile as a defensive-oriented and rather old-school head coach.
But even if the Patriots end up hiring somewhere else or even keeping Belichick, Vrabel shouldn’t have a lot of trouble getting another opportunity in the league.
The Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders, and potentially other teams will be in the market for a new head coach, and with Vrabel’s resume, they would be wise to at least bring him in for an interview.
