The Las Vegas Raiders, much like the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, and perhaps the New York Giants are very interested in drafting a new quarterback.
According to NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, the Raiders have their eye on Washington’s Michael Penix Jr.
“The Raiders have done a lot of work on Penix…I would say of the teams with the most willingness to move up, I would go Vikings one, I would probably go Raiders two, I would go Broncos third in that group,” Jeremiah stated on The Pat McAfee Show Monday.

Las Vegas is sitting in the No. 13 draft slot within the first round.
Currently, it seems like they would be more likely to draft Michael Penix Jr. or Bo Nix rather than a Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, or J.J. McCarthy.
Drafting the former Washington star in Penix Jr. wouldn’t be too shabby of a move at all.
He is arguably the best pure thrower in this draft.
The 2023 First-Team All-American led the Huskies to a 14-1 record and an appearance in the National Title Game after throwing for almost 5,000 yards and 36 touchdowns.
He was one of the most electrifying players in the country, which is why he was also a Heisman finalist.
Pairing someone like Penix Jr. with a great receiver in Davante Adams would be special.
Perhaps that is head coach Antonio Pierce’s angle.
If the Raiders find a way to grab Penix without having to trade up, Raiders fans should have a celebration.
