Former Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott struggled to find a new contract this season.
It took him until training camp to get a deal with the New England Patriots.
And while Elliott had a tough time convincing teams that he still had some miles left under his belt, it now seems like some people around the league have been more than impressed with his performances thus far.
That’s why NFL insider Jordan Schultz revealed that multiple teams have reportedly reached out to the Patriots to inquire about Elliot’s availability.
Sources: RB-needy teams have reached out to the #Patriots about the availability of RB Ezekiel Elliott.

Elliott has piled up 260 rushing yards and two touchdowns, serving as Rhamondre Stevenson’s backup in Bill O’Brien’s offense.
The Patriots are currently 2-6 and more than unlikely to make the playoffs, so it would only make sense for them to get something in return for an aging player who’s soon to become a free agent.
While he’s not the same tackle-breaking, big-play threat he once was, Elliott can still be a solid change-of-pace and goal-line back.
He won’t be in for a big payday, and it shouldn’t take a whole lot of draft capital to get him, so this news doesn’t come as a big surprise.
The trade deadline continues to zoom in, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Patriots being sellers and offloading some talent.
Their offense has been one of the worst in the league, and with Bill Belichick getting a contract extension, one can only wonder how much more time Mac Jones has left as the team’s starting quarterback.
