The Dallas Cowboys were arguably the biggest disappointment during the 2023 NFL season as they had the makings of a Super Bowl contender but were bounced in the Wild Card Round.
The Cowboys had a strong defense, but their offense came alive in the second half of the season thanks to Dak Prescott.
Prescott started the regular season slowly, but picked up as the year went on and had the makings of an MVP candidate.
Dallas’ early exit from the playoffs wasn’t entirely Prescott’s fault, though the failure did raise questions about his viability as the team’s quarterback going forward.
There have been no signs from the front office or coaching staff that a change is coming, though Prescott has a lot to prove in the NFL.
However, teammates like Jake Ferguson are sticking with Prescott no matter what via Big Time Hank.
“I’m with him until the wheels fall off,” Prescott said.

Prescott, by all accounts, is a good leader and teammate and Ferguson noted that his work ethic leads him to believe that he’ll only get better.
The quarterback is composed in the pocket and can also extend plays with his legs when needed, but he also showed off his arm talent in stretches during the regular season.
Ferguson became a reliable target for Prescott and that’s likely why the tight end is confident in him going forward.
The 2024 NFL season will be a prove-it year for Prescott who still needs to show the Cowboys and the rest of the NFL that he can lead a team to a championship.
