The Philadelphia Eagles confidently entered their Monday Night Football matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
This was an opportunity for the Eagles to get back on track, a chance for them to end their two-game losing skid.
While the Eagles were in control for most of the game, Drew Lock led a late-game, go-ahead touchdown drive, which ended up being what the Seahawks needed to win.
Losing isn’t something the Eagles have done much over the past two years.
This is likely why Jalen Hurts had the response that he did in a postgame press conference shared via Ari Meirov.
Hurts said, “I don’t think we’re committed enough.”
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts mentions he doesn’t think the team is ‘committed enough’ right now.
When asked what he means: “Commitment. I don’t have a dictionary on me now.”
An eye-popping answer…pic.twitter.com/iscJpkukcm

He attributed his and his teammate’s lack of commitment to their struggle in this game.
Hurts also said this is a “challenge we have to embrace,” something the team will need to grow and learn from moving forward.
After starting the season 10-1, a three-game skid is not what Hurts and the Eagles had in mind.
Something has to change for this team, and it has to change quickly.
If the Eagles falter even more, they will not only give up the No. 1 spot in the NFC, but they could also lose the NFC East to the Dallas Cowboys.
Diamonds are built under pressure, so they say.
Fans will be curious to see if this team can bounce back and if the Eagles have the level of fight and tenacity needed to get through this rough patch.
With two upcoming games with the New York Giants and one game with the Arizona Cardinals, the Eagles could use these two contests to get back on the right track.
