The Cincinnati Bengals headed into the 2023 NFL regular season with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title as long as they were able to get superstar quarterback Joe Burrow healthy and back on the field after suffering a calf strain in training camp.
Ultimately, Burrow was able to get back on the field, but not for long, as he eventually went down with a season-ending injury, which essentially derailed the team’s chance of competing for a title.
Even though the Bengals finished the 2023 campaign with a winning record of 9-8, Cincinnati ended up in last place in arguably the most competitive division in football (AFC North) and was written off early in the season, which was disappointing, to say the least.
Fortunately, the Bengals have a talented young squad and have the opportunity to bounce back next season, and it appears that superstar wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has already gotten back to work while training with his former LSU teammate and perhaps the best wideout in the game in Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings via Dov Kleiman.

Both of these former LSU stars have become superstars on the NFL level and are on the verge of inking enormous contracts with their respective teams because they are two of the best wide receivers in the game.
There’s been some speculation that Jefferson could get traded with the Vikings potentially at the beginning of a rebuild, but it remains to be seen if that’s what takes place and if the Bengals can put together a reunion for Jefferson, Chase, and Burrow.
