The Cincinnati Bengals‘ season hasn’t exactly gone as expected so far, as they hold just a 2-3 record and are dealing with a calf injury to quarterback Joe Burrow.
They will face a test this Sunday when they host the Seattle Seahawks, who have a 3-1 record and are coming off their bye week.
Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf recently said that teammate Devon Witherspoon will get the best of Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase this week, but Chase laughed it off and downplayed the comment, per Kelsey Conway.

Chase is off to a big start this season, as he has put up 476 receiving yards, which is seventh in the NFL, and three touchdowns through five games.
However, Cincinnati’s other receivers haven’t been very productive, as none of them have reached 200 yards, and their running game has been weak, resulting in their poor record.
They have scored over 20 points just twice in five games this year, and on another two occasions they were held to a scant three points.
Burrow hasn’t been himself this season due to his gimpy calf, but he did show a glimmer of promise in Week 5 when he completed 36 of 46 passes and threw for 317 yards and three touchdowns in his team’s 34-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
After their tilt with Seattle this weekend, the Bengals will have their bye week, but they will once again be tested afterward, as they will visit the currently undefeated San Francisco 49ers in Week 8, followed by a home contest against the Buffalo Bills the following Sunday.
