The 2023 NFL Season was one for the record books.
A lot of marquee moments went down throughout the year, making for an exciting time for fans around the league.
Even if their team didn’t do particularly well throughout the season, it was still a great time to be an NFL fan in general.
Some of the biggest storylines of the season revolved around the Kelce family, for different reasons.
Travis started dating Taylor Swift, which has turned out to be a global phenomenon, and Jason, among other things, retired from the league.
Jason is known as one of the best offensive linemen in recent history, and will likely be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the next several years.
His retirement is a big blow for the Philadelphia Eagles, although, this move was somewhat expected.
Jason has hinted at this for a few years, and has made mention of it several times during his podcast, New Heights.
New Heights has been an avenue for Travis and Jason to talk about becoming professional athletes, and it has also been a chance for them to talk about breaking news.
This was the case in a recent recording, as shared by the podcast’s social media team on Twitter.
Jason talked about his upcoming role with ESPN, outlining that “Monday Night Countdown is the most important thing we’re trying to iron out.”

Jason likely had several offers when he retired, but he ultimately decided to go with the worldwide leader in sports, joining them as an NFL analyst.
His presence might be missed on the field, but luckily, fans will still be able to interact with him via his new role in the media.
