One of the dream scenarios this draft season for a lot of people is LSU’s Jayden Daniels being selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in some way, shape, or form.
This is the case because he played for current Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce at Arizona State early in his college career before he transferred to LSU and won the Heisman Trophy.
Daniels was asked on Night Cap with NFL greats Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson about possibly playing for the Raiders.
“I want to go there. I want to go wherever my name is called,” Daniels told the NFL legends during the interview.
Jayden Daniels on possibly playing for the #Raiders:
“I wanna go wherever my name’s called.”
Whether it’s the #Commanders, #Patriots, or some other team that could potentially draft Daniels — he will be fully committed to that organization.

As cool as this sounds, it seems pretty unlikely.
Las Vegas currently sits at pick No. 13 in the first round.
They would either have to give up a lot of assets to trade up into the top five, or they would just need to wait and hope for a miracle.
It just doesn’t seem like something that could happen.
But again, it is the NFL Draft.
Wild things happen all the time.
As it stands right now, the general belief is that Daniels could be the next quarterback to go after USC’s Caleb Williams gets drafted by the Chicago Bears at pick No. 1 overall.
Will Daniels be taken at No. 2 by the Washington Commanders?
Or, will a surprise team like the Las Vegas Raiders come up from out of nowhere to draft him?
It is one of the many fascinating parts of this particular draft this year.
