The Miami Dolphins got off to a strong start to last season, but they weren’t able to keep their foot on the gas and keep the ball rolling when it mattered the most.
Tyreek Hill’s injury was a major factor in that, and it seemed like they were on the decline later in the season.
That, according to Jaylen Waddle, was the reason why they couldn’t get the job done.
Talking to Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem on their “OGs” podcast, he admitted that even though they had a great team, he felt like they didn’t hit their stride at the right time (via Playmaker TD).

However, he’s still confident in the direction the team is going right now, and he thinks it’s an exciting time to be a Dolphins fan.
Waddle was one of the best wide receivers in the game last season, and having him there is one of the reasons why they have one of the most explosive offenses in the entire National Football League.
Nonetheless, the Dolphins need to do a better job of keeping momentum, as the same thing has happened to them twice in as many seasons under Mike McDaniel.
Good teams peak right out of the gate, but great teams rise to the occasion when the season is on the line.
