The past few years have not been the kindest to the Cleveland Browns.
They have struggled to gain traction at the quarterback position, something they have sought after for many years.
Despite signing Deshaun Watson to a massive contract two years ago, the Browns have failed to have consistency at one of, if not the most critical positions in the league.
However, there is growing optimism that things will improve for the Browns next year.
They made the playoffs under Joe Flacco’s leadership in 2023, and even though they lost in the Wild Card round, there is hope they can continue that success into the 2024 season.
Watson should enter the year healthy, and with the Browns’ offseason additions in mind, there’s no telling how high this team’s ceiling can be.
One of the Browns’ most significant offseason moves was to acquire Jerry Jeudy from the Denver Broncos.
Jeudy was a highly regarded prospect, and while he had some good seasons in Denver, he didn’t take off in the manner the team expected him to.
The Browns seem to be very excited about his potential impact on this team, as they have traded for him and extended him for an additional three years.
After this extension was made public, Jeudy posted a note on Twitter, expressing his gratitude.
“Thank you, Jesus, for everything you’ve done for me and my family,” Jeudy said.

It will be interesting to see what Jeudy can do on this roster if Watson is healthy for an entire season.
Browns fans haven’t seen an entire season of Watson to this point, but if he can perform as he did early in his career, this duo could be one of the best in the league.
