The Dallas Cowboys suffered a humbling loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
They wanted to make a statement and prove that they could beat the team that had constantly beaten them.
They left the Bay area with a 42-10 loss, and perhaps the way things unfolded was even more worrisome than the score itself.
Dak Prescott was once again exposed when his team needed him, throwing three interceptions, some of them hard to explain.
However, despite yet another example of Prescott’s struggles in the bright lights, team owner Jerry Jones showed his support for his quarterback and stated that he can ‘definitely’ get them where they need to be (via Jon Machota).

Jones has sent mixed messages about Prescott throughout the years.
From playing hardball in negotiations to paying him, all the way to making passive-aggressive remarks about Cooper Rush and trading for Trey Lance.
But he still has had Prescott’s back through thick and thin.
Needless to say, that may not be in the team’s best interests, as Prescott has regressed vastly and seems to have lost most of his confidence.
He misses throws he usually makes when he’s trailing, and he continues to crumble under pressure every single time the game is on the line; it doesn’t matter who he’s facing.
The Cowboys have too much talent on both sides of the field to struggle this mightily.
But it doesn’t seem like Jerry Jones is looking to make any big moves to bolster the roster, at least not for now.
