Dak Prescott entered the 2023 season with many questions tied to him.
Many wondered if he could lead the Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl run, especially after another postseason collapse.
Now that he is playing well, and the Cowboys are tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for the lead in the NFC East, his public opinion seems to be changing.
Jerry Jones seems to be all-in on Prescott, as indicated by reporter Jon Machota.
According to Jones via Machota, “Dak is a player who is qualified in every way to have a Super Bowl in his career.”
Dak Prescott didn’t have his best game Sunday night.
But in one of the biggest games of his career, he did more than enough — and delivered an MVP statement.

Jones, of course, is the owner of the Cowboys.
It would be worrisome to fans if the team’s owner were not confident in their starting quarterback and his ability to bring this team a Super Bowl.
However, his comments seem more genuine than those of someone just trying to say the right thing at the right time.
Prescott is now well within the race for league MVP, and the conversation surrounding him is only heating up.
While individual awards are an excellent accomplishment for players to add to their resumes, Prescott and the Cowboys seem more focused on winning than anything.
They’ll need to keep their foot on the gas for the rest of the season, propelled by this win over the Eagles.
As Machota showcases, the Cowboys’ finish to the year could be difficult based on their schedule.
Their final four games are against the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Washington Commanders.
