It is the start of OTA for a lot of NFL teams.
With that being said, teams tend to make a few roster moves here or there to change up the roster a bit.
The New York Jets have made a couple of minor moves to freshen up the roster a bit.
According to the team’s official site, they signed rookie tight end Kevin Foelsch and released quarterback Colby Suits.

Starting with Foelsch, the Jets added the undrafted free agent after he was waived by the Carolina Panthers earlier this month.
Coming out of the University of New Haven, Foelsch caught 73 passes for 660 yards and 16 touchdowns in five seasons.
As a senior, he received All-Conference honors after catching a career-best 7 touchdowns.
He brings great size (6-4, 250 pounds) and depth to the roster at the beginning of the summer.
With the loss of veteran tight end C.J. Uzomah, the team is in need of as much tight end depth as it can find.
In terms of the release of quarterback Colby Suits, the former Louisiana-Monroe and Houston Christian star signed with the Jets after an impressive rookie minicamp but truly didn’t fit into the makeup of the roster.
Last season at Houston Christian, he threw for 1,919 yards, 13 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and he had a completion percentage mark of 56%.
Again, these are minor roster moves that won’t have an effect on the major players.
Also, a team that is as complete as the Jets can afford to take on a few developmental players here or there.
It will be interesting to watch these players try to carve out a role for themselves this summer with the Jets or any other team.
