During this social media era, professional athletes in all sports can express themselves publicly on outlets like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, among others.
Although these players can face fierce backlash for expressing their emotions and thoughts on social media, it doesn’t stop most of them from doing so and doing so on a regular basis.
On Thursday, after the nominees for NFL Comeback Player of the Year were announced, running back Breece Hall of the New York Jets felt compelled to take to Twitter to express his disappointment in not being at least one of the finalists for the award.
Clearly, Hall isn’t happy about getting snubbed, but he vows to be back with a vengeance next season, and it seems he’s using the snub as motivation moving forward.
“Everything will come full circle. I don’t discredit anyone and I’m happy for everyone up for the award!!! Never been the type to hate. I’ll get mine. Just wait,” Hall said.

With Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills almost certainly winning this award, Hall didn’t have much of a chance anyway, but probably wasn’t happy about Baker Mayfield, Matthew Stafford, and Joe Flacco getting nominated, considering what he had to go through to get back on the field.
After a promising start to his rookie season with the Jets, Hall suffered a torn ACL, which was a devastating blow for him and the team.
Fortunately for Hall, he was able to bounce back and have a solid 2023 campaign, as he came six yards (994) shy of cracking 1,000 yards rushing this season to go along with nine total touchdowns and 591 receiving yards on 76 receptions.
As long as he can stay healthy, Hall has a promising career ahead in New York and will undoubtedly benefit from getting Aaron Rodgers back under center next season.
