The Cincinnati Bengals may have missed the playoffs during the 2023 NFL season, but not many people are going to overlook them heading into 2024.
The Bengals got dealt multiple untimely injuries last season, though none were as devastating as Joe Burrow’s as he suffered a wrist injury that forced him to miss the remainder of the year.
Burrow has dealt with several tough injuries during his young NFL career, but when healthy belongs in the conversation for best quarterback in the league because of his cool demeanor and incredibly accurate passing skills.
The former No. 1 pick out of LSU has already proven that he can rise to the occasion in big moments as evidenced by the team’s run to Super Bowl LVI where they almost beat the Los Angeles Rams.
When Cincinnati needs to make an offensive play, Burrow is always at the heart of the action and seems to always deliver.
With that in mind, it was no surprise to see that he is considered one of the most clutch players in the league as he’s the highest-rated passer in one-score games since 2021 via PFF.

Burrow’s ability to stay even-keeled in high-pressure situations speaks to his strong mental fortitude as well as his talent as a passer.
Burrow has a knack for being able to make timely throws no matter the situation and it’s been a huge boon for the Bengals’ offense.
Coming off a lost year, Burrow and company will surely be looking to remind the league that Cincinnati can win it all if their star quarterback can stay on the field.
