The Baltimore Ravens are going to have to work very hard to get back to the mountaintop next season.
Notably, a lot of that will have to do with Todd Monken’s ability to adjust from what went right and what went wrong in his first season as their offensive coordinator.
Also, with Odell Beckham Jr. likely to be on his way out unless he takes a significant pay cut, there could and should be more opportunities and touches out there for Rashod Bateman.
With that in mind, John Harbaugh predicted a breakout season for the 24-year-old, predicting he will take a “big step.”

Talking at the NFL Scouting Combine, he talked about how hard Bateman has worked and the fact that he was finally healthy.
Harbaugh stated that Bateman made some big plays whenever the ball got to him, so he only expects him to get better and make a bigger impact going forward.
Lamar Jackson is coming off an MVP season and continued to make great strides as a passer.
Rookie WR Zay Flowers proved to be ahead of schedule, and he should continue to operate as his No.1 option in the passing game, with Mark Andrews as a close second.
Bateman is a speedster with the ability to break some ankles and leave DBs in the dust when given an opportunity.
Hopefully, he’ll be able to build from this solid season and stay healthy to fulfill his head coach’s prophecy, as the Ravens will need as much help as they can get to dethrone Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024.
