The Baltimore Ravens came away from Sunday Night Football with a much-needed win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
They did so in blowout fashion, continuing to clear the path to give themselves a first-round bye in the playoffs.
However, this win came at a cost.
Keaton Mitchell fell to injury during this game, and his timeframe to return was largely unclear.
As Josina Anderson has shared via John Harbaugh’s postgame press conference, the team considers this injury serious.
Harbaugh indicated that Mitchell is not believed to return to play this season, another devastating blow to this offense.

This is the latest causality for the Ravens in a string of unfortunate injuries at the running back position.
J.K. Dobbins is out for the year, and while he is back in action, Gus Edwards has dealt with several injury issues.
With news of Mitchell missing the rest of the year, the Ravens must return to the drawing board at the position.
Their long-term plans at running back remain to be seen, but for now, the Ravens must focus on closing out the rest of the season.
While the Ravens have learned to rely on their running backs in recent history, Lamar Jackson is still a prolific rusher.
When all else fails, the team can count on his athleticism to carry them through, perhaps taking on a more significant role in the ground game.’
Jackson continues to play at an MVP-caliber pace, and with another devastating offensive injury, fans will continue to see what he is made of.
