When you ask most people who they believe is the greatest quarterback of all time, most will say Tom Brady due to his seven Super Bowl wins.
Some older fans might go with Joe Montana, while some younger fans might already be saying Patrick Mahomes, but you don’t often hear the name that came out of former Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel’s mouth associated with being the GOAT.
Johnny Football was on Run It Back today on FanDuel TV and listed Michael Vick as his GOAT.
“The goat in my eyes, I have a different opinion, I love Michael Vick,” Manziel said.

Manziel seemed to make the comment in jest, implying Vick was his GOAT but acknowledging Mahomes is well on his way to catching Brady, but that Vick is still his favorite.
Vick didn’t quite live up to his hype, but he still put up incredible numbers and was must-watch TV every time he played.
His ability as a runner changed the NFL, and while he wasn’t the first mobile quarterback, he was by far the most dangerous the league had ever seen up to that point.
He ended many stigmas around dual-threat quarterbacks, and in a sense, he walked so current mobile quarterbacks could run.
Back then, being a mobile quarterback was seen as a way to cover up deficiencies as a passer, but nowadays it’s seen as a detriment to be immobile as a quarterback.
Lamar Jackson has won two MVPs, Russell Wilson won a Super Bowl, Cam Newton won an MVP and made it to a Super Bowl, and it’s possible none of this happens without Vick paving the way.
He may not be the GOAT, but his on-field impact is undeniable.
