The Green Bay Packers were so close to getting over the hump.
Jordan Love got them all the way to the NFC Divisional Round, and they were just four points away from reaching the NFC Championship Game.
The Packers exceeded all expectations in his first season as a starter, and it’s now a matter of when, not if, he’ll be signed to a very lucrative contract extension.
Still, it’s not just about the money for Jordan Love; he actually loves the game.
That’s why he took to Instagram to share a picture of himself at Lambeau Field, just to show how much he misses being out there in the trenches.
“Missing this,” Love said.

Love waited patiently on the sidelines for his opportunity.
He grabbed a clipboard, took notes, and made sure to soak in as much information from Aaron Rodgers as possible.
He earned his stripes in the locker room, and drew plenty of praise for his leadership and ability to step up when it mattered the most, and it’s more than evident that his players would run through a brick wall for him.
That’s massive for such a young team like this Packers team.
They’re all on the same timeline and growing and developing together, yet they still acknowledge Love’s leadership and play for a common goal.
Matt LaFleur also proved to be a great offensive mind by getting this team over the hump despite having a first-year starter, and it’ll be very fun to see this team’s improvement over the next couple of years.
