The Buffalo Bills, once again, found themselves on the wrong side of the record books with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs beat them in the playoffs for the third time in the past four seasons, showcasing the dominance of Patrick Mahomes.
This loss was particularly devastating for the Bills, considering they had an opportunity to tie the game with less than two minutes left.
However, Tyler Bass missed a field goal try by a wide margin, which allowed the Chiefs to start their victory formation.
While teammates could choose to be frustrated with Bass for missing the kick, Josh Allen chose a different response.
In a video shared by the NFL, Allen is seen embracing Bass, making sure he felt valued and appreciated as a teammate.

Kickers, similarly to quarterbacks, can often be blamed for the outcome of games.
They are highly praised when they deliver and kick a game-tying or game-winning field goal.
However, when they fail, the fanbase tends to turn on them quickly.
Allen recognized that with Bass and ensured he was protected in that moment.
Bass should understand at this point in his NFL career that one kick likely was not the reason they lost the game.
