It’d be safe to say that during his time as the superstar quarterback of the University of Southern California, Caleb Williams was the most popular and perhaps the most talented quarterback in the city of Los Angeles, beating out Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams star Matthew Stafford.
Williams put on a show on a weekly basis for USC and ultimately became the consensus best player in college football, leading many to believe that he’ll be a franchise quarterback on the next level.
Although it is difficult for superstars on the college level to live up to the hype on the NFL level, many believe Williams has the skills to get it done and should be a no-brainer pick for the team with the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
That team will be the Chicago Bears, who will have the top pick in the draft for a second straight season, and this time around, it appears they’ll be keeping the pick rather than trading it because Williams is such a promising prospect.
Joy Taylor of FOX Sports believes that Williams is worth all the hype that he’s getting right now via Speak On FS1.
“I think he is one of those prospects that is going to reward us for talking about him as much as we do the way that we do,” Taylor said.

It’ll be interesting to see if Williams can live up to all the hype he’s getting right now as the next big thing to come out of the college game and if the Bears will reap the benefits of landing the potential superstar.
Only time will tell if things work out for Williams and whatever team drafts him.
