When NFL fans think of Julian Edelman, they likely think of him as a member of the New England Patriots.
Edelman was a Super Bowl champion with the Patriots and has been connected to Tom Brady ever since.
This was especially noted on Brady’s Netflix roast, as several comedians and former teammates poked fun at their relationship.
Edelman and Brady were a dynamic wide receiver-quarterback combo who loved playing together.
He retired the year after Brady moved on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and has spent a lot of time on podcasts and various shows in his newfound free time.
Edelman recently appeared on Maxx Crosby’s podcast, “The Rush,” where he talked about his NFL career, particularly his experience playing against the Oakland Raiders in California.
“I loved it, because I grew up in the Bay, and it was my first time playing in the Bay as a pro,” Edelman said.

This seems to be a common trend for players like Edelman.
They appreciate the team that drafted them, but there’s also a unique sense of pride and accomplishment when they play in their home state.
For Edelman, playing in Oakland was a legendary experience, one that he will not soon forget.
Of course, the Raiders now play in Las Vegas, and while Allegiant Stadium is viewed highly, the Collesium was also a stadium that players loved to have games in.
Oakland might not have an NFL team in their city anymore, but the memories from the Raiders being there will live on.
