The National Football League has come a long way throughout the course of the years.
The Commissioner has put an emphasis on two things: Player safety, and making life easier for offensive players.

Now, dangerous returners should get paid much more money, not to mention the fact that strategy will also play a huge part in special teams’ play.
On the one hand, it’s nice to see that special teams matter and that those players are finally going to get the praise and recognition they deserve.
On the other hand, perhaps scoring points isn’t the only thing that matters and that the fans want to see.
However, if it’s for the better of the game, and if it helps the players avoid injuries, then we should all be in favor of it.
Also, everything has to adapt or it’ll perish, and not even the NFL is the exception to that rule, so we might as well embrace change instead of resisting it.
