With the NFL season officially in the books with the Kansas City Chiefs getting the best of the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl recently, the rest of the league is heading into the offseason, hoping to figure out a way to upgrade their rosters.
One team that is currently faced with a tough decision is the Chicago Bears, who own the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft for a second straight, with the opportunity to bring in a potential franchise quarterback to replace Justin Fields if they decide to trade him.
Since it became known that the Bears would have the No. 1 pick again, speculation and debate have been brewing about what the team will decide to do and whether Chicago would trade the pick again like they did last year when they sent it to the Carolina Panthers.
At this point, all signs appear to be pointing to the Bears trading Fields and the team taking USC star Caleb Williams at No. 1, which has the team’s current starter frustrated, resulting in him unfollowing the team on social media.
Fields recently explained why he unfollowed the Bears, as he wants the situation to be resolved via ESPN 1000.
“I think the biggest thing with all this going on right now, I just want it to be over. Like, just let me know if I’m getting traded, let me know if I’m staying, this and that,” Fields said.

It’s hard to blame Fields as his career remains in limbo with this trade speculation now being the talk of the NFL now that the season is over.
It sounds like if the Bears want to trade Fields, he just wants it over and done with so he can continue his career somewhere else.
