The Minnesota Vikings have been one of the most discussed teams in the NFL throughout the offseason.
After losing Kirk Cousins to the Atlanta Falcons, many fans and analysts have suggested that the Vikings will take a quarterback in the first round of the upcoming draft.
While their quarterback situation is up in the air, the Vikings are also in negotiations to re-sign Justin Jefferson, who is still on his rookie deal.
Jefferson has been one of the best receivers in the league since he was drafted, and many expect the Vikings to reset the receiver market with his contract.
He doesn’t seem upset that a deal isn’t done to this point, at least publically.
Jefferson was recently seen at the Vikings’ stadium, launching balls at the crossbar from the 50-yard line.
As “The Purple Persuasion” said on Twitter, the Vikings might not need a quarterback after all, if Jefferson can throw a ball like this.
Maybe the #Vikings don’t need to draft a QB

While this might be satire, it does speak to the level of athlete that Jefferson is.
He is not only a great receiver, but, if the team needed him in a pinch, he could throw a few deep balls to his teammates.
Jefferson isn’t the only receiver to show off his arm in recent history.
Odell Beckham Jr. has showcased his arm in-game, throwing touchdown passes in trick plays.
Jefferson could do this for the Vikings if called upon, which would be a sight to behold for fans.
When will the Vikings lock him down with a contract extension?
