The Jacksonville Jaguars could get a massive offensive boost for their regular-season finale.
HC Doug Pederson had already hinted at having wide receiver Christian Kirk back on the field and returning to practice, and it seems like that’s going to be the case.
According to a report by Ari Meirov, the Jaguars have already announced that Kirk has been designated to return from the Injured Reserve (IR) list.

The Jaguars have been without Kirk since Week 13 after undergoing surgery for a core muscle injury.
As a result, the veteran wideout can now practice with the team for the next three weeks, and he can be activated at any point in that span.
That could technically make him eligible to suit up and play in the regular season finale vs. the Tennessee Titans, a game that could give the Jaguars their second consecutive AFC South Division title with a win.
Kirk has been Trevor Lawrence’s favorite target since arriving in Jacksonville, so they could also look to play it safely with him and save him for the playoffs, or even activate him but keep him on a snap count.
Notably, the Jaguars also hope to have their star QB back on the field after he missed the first game of his career in Week 17.
Lawrence was struggling with an injury to his throwing shoulder and was unable to practice at all last week.
But with everything that’s at stake in Jacksonville, it would be shocking to see him miss Week 18’s contest as well.
