The Washington Commanders helped break one of the most infamous streaks in NFL history.
They hosted the Chicago Bears — a team that had lost 14 consecutive games — as six-point favorites and couldn’t live up to that status.
They fell 27-3 at halftime and were never really in the game.
That’s why diehard Commanders fan Josh Hart — who was born and raised in Maryland — took to Twitter to echo his frustration after the game.
I hate football.

The New York Knicks’ guard/forward wasn’t the only one in disbelief after the loss.
The Commanders turned the ball over twice and could only put up 20 points to the Bears’ 40 despite being pretty much equal in time of possession.
The offensive line allowed five sacks, and while the offense marched up and down the field, almost at will — even outgaining the Bears in total first downs — they failed to make the most of their trips to the red zone.
The Commanders are now sitting on a 2-3 record and have been fairly inconsistent thus far.
They looked quite solid in the first two games of the season, and almost pulled off a huge upset over the Philadelphia Eagles last week, but they have now dropped three straight games.
Also, they’ve been the kind of team that has failed to overcome adversity.
Ron Rivera has plenty of adjustments to do ahead of their upcoming clash vs. the Atlanta Falcons, but at least, they’ll have more than enough time to recover and regroup after this tough loss.
