Bo Nix was drafted by the Denver Broncos at pick No. 12 overall in the NFL Draft in April.
The former Oregon and Auburn quarterback should be the future starter at Mile High despite Denver trading for Zach Wilson and already having Jarrett Stidham on the roster.
Pro Football Hall-of-Famer and NFL Network analyst Kurt Warner appeared on The Fantasy Football Podcast to chat about the former Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year.
“I looked at the Bo Nix tape and said if there was one quarterback that was asked to do more of what you’re going to be asked to do at the NFL level than any of the other guys, it was Bo Nix,” the former Super Bowl champion said.

Especially since Sean Payton is the head coach, Nix is in very, very good hands.
Remember, Payton previously coached a smaller quarterback that started a lot in college.
His name was Drew Brees, and he became one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
So, the fact that Nix already has experience playing in an NFL-style offense combined with the experience that Payton has in terms of coaching a similar type of player, Denver should be in good shape moving forward.
Looking towards the 2024 season, Nix will compete with Stidham and Wilson for the starting job this summer.
It would not be the worst thing if he sat for the first part of the year to get acclimated to Payton’s offense.
Regardless, Denver’s offense should be on the rise from what it was with Russell Wilson.
