One player who has had a weirdly good season is Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber.
He is having a year unlike any other in his career.
What makes it so weird is that he has been incredibly productive despite not batting over .200.
Six games are remaining in the season and Schwarber still has a chance to reach .200.
According to Codify, Schwarber needs to go 6-for-22 over his last six games to bat exactly .200.
If Kyle Schwarber goes 6-for-22 in his last 6 games, he will hit exactly .200 this season (with at least 45 HR and 124 BB). pic.twitter.com/u68Jcg7lao

While .200 is not an average to be proud of, it sure looks better than batting in the .190s.
The Phillies can put up with his .200 average because Schwarber gets on base at an elite rate.
He owns an on-base percentage of .345 and is second in the league in walks with 124.
That is why the Phillies still bat him leadoff despite his terrible batting average.
Every team wants a leadoff hitter that can consistently get on base.
Schwarber is showing the whole league that there is more than one way to do that.
It will be interesting to see what the Phillies have in the tank come playoff time.
This season they are destined for the first Wild Card spot, which means they would host the Wild Card series at Citizens Bank Park.
If last season taught us anything, it’s that “The Bank” is a tough place to play in October.
The Phillies are hoping to make another run to the World Series.
They will need another strong October to help them get there.
