The past few years have been interesting for the Washington Commanders.
Scandals have come to light from their front office, the team’s on-field performances have been less-than-ideal, and the team recently was sold to a new ownership group.
With all of this in mind, the Commanders have made several recent changes, hoping to turn things around.
They recently hired Dan Quinn as their newest head coach, a move that had mixed responses from people across the league.
Kyle Shanahan was recently asked about this ahead of the Super Bowl, saying nothing but positive things about Quinn and the Commanders’ GM, Adam Peters.
“I know they’ve gone through a lot of stuff in these last 20 years, but having AP and DQ is as good as it gets,” Shahanan said.

Whether the Commanders turn things around in 2024 remains to be seen, but with Shanahan having this level of confidence, things are looking up for this team.
They have the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and many believe they will take one of the top quarterback prospects.
With any luck, that quarterback will turn into a C.J. Stroud-like player for them, which could help transform their offense.
They have several playmakers on offense that could be further unlocked with a great quarterback, helping Quinn in his first season as head coach.
It will be interesting to see if they can turn their defense around, which was one of the worst units in the league last year, especially in their cornerback room.
