The San Francisco 49ers recently laid down the hurt on the Dallas Cowboys, beating them 41-10 on national television.
This might not have been a playoff game, but the atmosphere at the game and the smack talk between the two teams made it seem like one.
The 49ers ultimately got the last laugh with the win, but George Kittle was caught in the crossfire due to an outfit choice.
He wore a shirt with less than kind things to say about Dallas, sparking some heated comments from the Cowboys and their fans.
When asked about Kittle’s shirt in a press conference, Kyle Shanahan downplayed Kittle’s outfit.
According to Pro Football Talk, Shanahan said, “Just Kittle, WWE stuff, entertainment.”

Kittle is a known superfan of WWE, a reason for Shanahan to call out this shirt.
While the media and Cowboys fans have continued to make a big deal about this, Shanahan chose to brush it off.
After the game, there was a lot of buzz that Dallas would beat the 49ers in a rematch, should both teams meet in the postseason.
A lot would have to go right for the Cowboys for that to happen, given the 49ers’ position as co-leaders in the NFC.
They are currently tied with the Philadelphia Eagles at 5-0, the two teams in the league that remain undefeated.
The Cowboys would not only need to make the playoffs but likely make it to the NFC Championship to attempt a rematch if the 49ers continue their current dominant trajectory.
