The Baltimore Ravens have found themselves in a favorable position, especially when looking toward the rest of the regular season.
The Ravens have a 10-3 record and are in the driver’s seat for a first-round bye in the playoffs.
While the Ravens have a solid overall team, Lamar Jackson’s play has brought them to the next level.
Jackson has once again found himself entrenched in the heart of the MVP conversation for his ability to elevate the Ravens’ offense.
In a video shared by the Ravens ‘ official account, he recently spoke about what it means to be an MVP candidate.
“It’s an honor,” Jackson said.

If he were to win the award, it would be the second of his career.
Jackson won league MVP in 2019 after having a career year in rushing and passing yards.
He also scored 43 total touchdowns that season while only throwing six interceptions.
While Jackson isn’t necessarily among the league leaders in passing yards or touchdowns, he is seen as incredibly valuable to the Ravens’ organization.
He must continue to play well to ensure their position as the playoffs’ No. 1 overall seed.
If the Ravens keep this up, they will secure a first-round bye in the playoffs for the first time in Jackson’s career as their starter.
While he has often experienced scrutiny, Jackson has made his doubters question their previously held beliefs en route to a noteworthy season.
Fans will be interested to see how the rest of the season plays out, knowing how crowded the AFC’s top teams are.
