Lamar Jackson won his second MVP last season and led his Baltimore Ravens to the AFC Championship Game, where he and his team fell just short at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fans had heard reports that Lamar was leaning out even more ahead of next season in an effort to take his game to the next level, and a new photo coming out of OTAs has shown just how drastically he has changed his physique.
Yahoo’s Charles Robinson shared a couple of before and after photos of Lamar in July of 2022 compared to a photo of him from OTAs this week, and he looks noticeably slimmer and less muscular, as his alleged weight loss no longer looks so alleged.

Jackson said he is currently down to 205 pounds and that he was playing around 230 pounds in 2022 before trimming down to 215 pounds in his MVP campaign last season.
People in the organization are excited about this, so there’s no reason for fans to be worried about Lamar being too skinny, as he won the MVP in 2019 around this weight but made a concerted effort to add some size over the next few years.
Lamar also has the addition of a certain 250-pound running back to his backfield in the form of future Hall-of-Famer Derrick Henry, so there’s plenty of room for him to slim down with a back like that by his side.
It’ll be interesting to see how this affects his play in 2024 and if this will make the already-elusive Lamar even more impossible to tackle.
