Heading into last season, the Baltimore Ravens were considered to be the most stacked team in the league offensively, with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson recently signing a lucrative contract extension and the team bringing in Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr. as targets downfield.
Even though Beckham never really panned out for the Ravens, the same can’t be said for Flowers, who quickly became one of Jackson’s favorite targets in the passing game and turned into a household name in Baltimore.
Despite locking up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and looking like the team to beat heading into the NFL playoffs, the Ravens couldn’t hold their own against the Kansas City Chiefs and were bounced in the AFC Championship Game.
Fortunately for Baltimore, the Ravens are looking to bounce back with a vengeance in 2024, with the team adding a pivotal piece to the puzzle in veteran superstar running back Derrick Henry, who has already amazed Jackson in OTAs, via NFL on CBS.
“I just get the ball and ‘go, big guy, go!’ I’m cheering like the fans!” Jackson said.

With Henry coming into the fold for the Ravens, Baltimore has a chance to be one of the league’s best offenses once again and might be able to get over the top this year during the playoffs if the veteran back proves to be the missing piece to the championship puzzle.
Only time will tell if Henry can help lead them to a Super Bowl, but as of right now, the Ravens look like they’ll be a legitimate title contender right out of the gate come Week 1 in September.
