The Baltimore Ravens are somewhat overlooked.
They’re the best team in the AFC, at least record-wise, yet it seems like not enough people are talking about them right now.
With that in mind, legendary wideout Larry Fitzgerald believes it’s about time people start giving Lamar Jackson his flowers.
Talking on SiriusXM NFL Radio, the Arizona Cardinals legend acknowledged that even though it hasn’t always been pretty, Jackson has led the Baltimore Ravens to the Super Bowl conversation and should get more recognition in the MVP race.

As of now, it seems like it’s a two-way race between Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott, who seems to have a bit of an edge over the San Francisco 49ers’ youngster.
Jackson and the Ravens have only lost three games and are in a prime position to run away with the first seed in the AFC, which is why it’s kind of odd to see that no one seems to believe that he can win MVP.
There are still four games left in the season, and the Ravens’ schedule isn’t particularly easy.
So, who’s to say Jackson shouldn’t be the MVP if he finishes the season on a high note and the Ravens win out?
Perhaps people don’t take the Ravens so seriously because they haven’t found a lot of success in the playoffs during the Jackson era, but this team is much better than the ones he’s had in the past, and one should know better than to count out a former MVP who’s still in his prime.
