So far this season, the Detroit Lions have been matching the preseason hype surrounding them.
They’re 3-1 on the young season, and they’re coming off back-to-back blowout wins over the Atlanta Falcons and the Green Bay Packers.
Their passing game has looked strong so far this year, and it could become ever stronger, as wide receiver Jameson Williams is reportedly set to make his season debut in Week 5 versus the Carolina Panthers, per Dianna Russini.
Titans Nick Petit-Frere and Lions Jameson Williams will be reinstated effective on Monday and available for week 5 games, per league sources. The NFL is also making modifications to the current gambling policy. Non-NFL gambling offenses will now carry a 2 game suspension, with…

Williams played in six games last year as a rookie and had just one reception for 41 yards and a touchdown, but the team seems to have high hopes for him.
He has been serving a suspension after allegedly betting on college football games while on a team road trip, something that is against the NFL’s rules.
He will join what has been a productive wideout room that includes Amon-Ra St. Brown, who was a Pro Bowler last year, and Josh Reynolds.
St. Brown has collected 331 receiving yards and two touchdowns and Reynolds has 215 yards and two touchdowns through four games.
That production has helped quarterback Jared Goff put up 1,029 passing yards on a 69.5 percent completion rate, six touchdown passes, and a 98.4 passer rating so far this year.
Going into this season, many were picking Detroit to finish first in the NFC North, especially after they finished last season with a flurry by winning eight of their last 10 games.
Their defense was a big problem in 2022, but it has looked a lot better to start this season, and with other teams in their division struggling, this could be the year Detroit finally returns to respectability.
