For years, Marvin Harrison Jr. has been penciled in as the best wide receiver prospect in the NFL Draft class of 2024.
Besides his obvious NFL pedigree and privileged gene pool, he thrived at Ohio State and showed that he could be a special player at the next level.
He’s still considered to be the best player at his position ahead of the draft.
Nonetheless, per former NFL player Louis Riddick, there’s not too much of a gap between him and Malik Nabers.
Talking on ESPN’s “First Take,” Riddick claimed that Nabers is something like the second coming of Ja’Marr Chase, pointing out the fact that he’s actually more efficient after the catch, physically more imposing, and has been more versatile because he could line up at the slot or outside, while Harrison was mostly used primarily outside.

Most scouts agree that the gap between both players isn’t as wide as they originally thought.
Nabers was a superstar in his final season at LSU, and some argue he was the main reason why Jayden Daniels wound up winning the Heisman trophy.
Of course, most of the talk around this draft class will revolve around the quarterbacks, and rightfully so, as there could be as many as six taken in the first round.
Then again, we could also be looking at a generational class of wide receivers, and it’ll be interesting to see how their careers pan out and how they stack up against each other once it’s all said and done.
