The Seattle Mariners have one of the best young players in baseball on their roster.
It is rare for a player to make an impact before the age of 23.
Only certain legendary players have been All-Stars in their early 20s.
Rodriguez fits into that category.
Through his first two MLB seasons, Rodriguez has been one of the best players in baseball.
He has made the All-Star team both years along with winning Silver Slugger awards.
Not to mention he has a seventh-place and fourth-place AL MVP finish on his resume.
Rodriguez did all of that before turning 23.
But, that day is finally here as Rodriguez turned 23 years old on Friday and the Mariners sent out a tweet in celebration.
Happy birthday, Juliooooo! pic.twitter.com/61rypOzKRa

Rodriguez has already signed a long-term contract with the Mariners.
He is set to be the face of their franchise for many years to come.
We have not seen a young player have this big of an impact in Seattle since Ichiro.
He came over from Japan when he was 27, but he won Rookie of the Year and AL MVP in his first season with the Mariners.
Rodriguez is hoping to have a similar impact on Seattle that Ichiro had.
Last season, Rodriguez hit .275 with 32 home runs and 103 RBI.
He also stole 37 bases.
But, his efforts were not enough to get the Mariners to the playoffs.
The Mariners have had many great players in their history, but none have led them to a World Series title.
All of Seattle hopes Rodriguez will be the one to take them to the promised land.
