The Miami Marlins were leading 2-1 in the ninth inning against the New York Mets in a pivotal game for the NL Wild Card race on Thursday.
They had scored their two runs in the ninth inning but had their rally interrupted by a rain delay.
The delay became a suspended game, and this made Marlins manager Skip Schumaker really angry.
Schumaker took it out on the Mets’ grounds crew, as the unit just hasn’t had its best week.
“Here’s the video of when discussions with Skip Schumacher got heated. This is getting insane. Frustration clearly boiling over as the Marlins season hangs in the balance!” Just Baseball tweeted.

Granted, weather conditions have been rough in New York this week.
But the grounds crew wasn’t always timely with the tarp, and had already been unable to make the field playable on Tuesday, which resulted in a postponement and a doubleheader on Wednesday.
Those mishaps have been affecting the Marlins’ pitching plans all week, and Schumaker just had enough.
With the Atlanta Braves sweeping the Chicago Cubs, the Marlins’ destiny is in their own hands.
If they win all games they have remaining, they will sneak into the postseason, likely as the third Wild Card squad.
The Marlins – Mets game is scheduled to be resumed on Monday at 1:10 p.m. ET at Citi Field.
Even if it’s not needed to determine which team qualifies, it will likely be played because it will have seeding implications that need to be sorted.
The Marlins, who are half a game ahead of the Cubs as of Friday afternoon, are looking at a playoff spot.
