Throughout the course of his NFL career, and mostly over the past four years or so, Aaron Rodgers has earned a bit of a reputation.
Widely known for being one of the greatest and most talented quarterbacks of all time, his off-field persona hasn’t drawn that much praise.
Family feuds, conspiracy theories, and a power struggle with the Green Bay Packers have made the media portray him as a bit of a villain.
That’s why former Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling wanted to make it loud and clear that that’s not the case at all.
Talking to Zach Gelb of CBS Sports Radio, the speedster wideout stated that Rodgers is actually one of the single-greatest teammates he’s ever had, adding that he genuinely cares about his teammates and that he doesn’t understand why he’s portrayed that way.

Rodgers’ unapologetic nature and outside-of-the-box thinking have led him to make several controversial comments, and it seems like he doesn’t truly respect the media that much because he doesn’t feel respected by them.
That’s something that many athletes have had to deal with during their careers, and that’s a battle not many of them have been able to win.
There are countless stories about Rodgers, both good and bad.
But at the end of the day, those who aren’t in the locker room or in the trenches with him — or any other professional athlete — often forget that these are people first and foremost.
