One of the most inspiring storylines in the NFL during the second half of the 2023 campaign was the rise of the Green Bay Packers, who were thought to be a team that would struggle all season long and potentially be looking at the 2024 NFL Draft to improve their roster and their chances of being a force to be reckoned with moving forward.
After trading superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets, the team had officially gone all-in on Jordan Love in hopes that he’d be the leader that Rodgers had been ever since he took over for Brett Favre.
Despite a rocky first half of the season, Love started to turn things around and ultimately got this team playing good football on a weekly basis, which led to a playoff berth and an impressive playoff win over the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys.
Even though the Packers gave the San Francisco 49ers all they could handle in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, Green Bay’s offseason has officially begun, with a decision needing to be made on defensive coordinator Joe Barry’s job status.
According to Around The NFL, head coach Matt LaFleur isn’t ready to make a decision on Barry.

It’ll be interesting to see what LaFleur and the team’s brass do about Barry and whether the team considers looking for another defensive coordinator option moving forward.
Only time will tell what the team will do and if LaFleur and company feel that a change is needed in order to improve the team’s defense.
