The Green Bay Packers started the 2023 season with a win over the Chicago Bears.
After beginning the year with a dominant victory, excitement was high around the Packers fanbase.
Jordan Love played well, and it seemed like he would turn out to be the prince that was promised.
Since that opening game, however, the Packers have won just one additional game and now hold a season record of 2-4.
The confidence in Love from the fanbase has quickly soured and has left many questioning his future with the team.
Despite the public being unsure about Love’s abilities, head coach Matt LaFleur has continued to show trust in his quarterback.
In a postgame interview shared via Pro Football Talk, LaFleur said “Our confidence in him is not wavering one bit.”

At least publically, LaFleur believes that Love is the right quarterback to lead this team.
He did have three years to grow and develop under Aaron Rodgers, which made fans believe he would have instant success.
However, even though Love has shown flashes of excellence, ultimately, he is showing his inexperience while on the field.
Plus, the Packers have been one of the most injury-plagued teams in the NFL this season.
Many of Love’s top receiving options have been banged up, forcing him to throw to less-than-ideal targets.
The Packers seem to be getting healthier, as Christian Watson and Aaron Jones were back on the field in Week 7.
