After getting the best of the division-rival Chicago Bears in the regular-season finale at Lambeau Field on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers were able to punch their ticket to the NFL playoffs, setting up a matchup with the NFC East division champion Dallas Cowboys.
With the Packers barely making it into the postseason and the Cowboys being one of the best all-around teams in the league this season, Jordan Love and company will be heavy underdogs coming into this postseason showdown with America’s Team at AT&T Stadium in Texas.
The Packers will need to play a near-perfect game in order to get the best of the Cowboys on the road, with Dallas having one of the best defenses and a formidable offense led by star quarterback Dak Prescott.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur knows he has his work cut out for him heading into the playoff game against the Cowboys, but he did make an interesting comment, which could become bulletin-board material for Dallas.
According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, LaFleur pointed out quite a few things that impressed him about the Cowboys’ offense but believes it ultimately comes down to how well Prescott plays.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur rattled off a bunch of things that impresses him about the Cowboys offense, but in the end said: “A lot of it comes down to how well the quarterback is playing.”

At one point in time during this 2023 NFL regular season, Prescott was very much in the running for NFL MVP, as he had a stellar season that was worthy of getting some much-needed recognition around the league.
However, he has come down to earth since that time and could very well be the reason for the team’s success or failure during the postseason.
