The Detroit Lions got their first playoff win in three decades.
Ironically, they happened to get it by beating the man who failed to do the same in his postseason games with the organization.
Matthew Stafford returned to Ford Field, this time as a member of the Los Angeles Rams, and he fell short on those premises again.
Stafford is a Lions icon and arguably the greatest quarterback in franchise history, so he was still met with cheers and a lot of love.
Then again, some fans also booed him, which was kind of shocking, all things considered.
Nonetheless, when asked about that, the former Super Bowl champion claimed that he wasn’t too worried about how some of the fans might feel about him (Via NFL on CBS).
“I’m not too worried about anybody’s personal feelings towards me that was sitting in the stands,” Stafford said.

It makes no sense to turn their back on Stafford.
He didn’t ask to be traded, and he was the lone bright spot on the team since he arrived in the league.
Stafford and Calvin Johnson single-handedly put the team on their shoulders for most of their tenure together, and while he didn’t find postseason success, he wasn’t to blame for how poorly managed the team was.
He played through countless injuries and was always a class act on and off the field, and he shouldn’t be to blame for not playing for them anymore.
Fortunately, the boos weren’t as loud as the cheers, and there were plenty more fans thanking him for all he did than those calling him out.
